Switching your personal account to a free Professional Account gives you instant access to the Instagram Shop feature. To do this simply follow these steps:
Go back to the three buttons we mentioned before and launch the settings menu. In here you’ll see the ‘business’ tab and when you click on this you’ll see ‘sign up for shopping.’
This will then prompt you to link your Instagram page to your Facebook page, which you have to do in order to sell.
Once you’ve linked to your Facebook page your account will be sent for review. You can’t do anything more yet until this is authorised.
Now that you’ve been approved, you’ll be able to label products in the posts that you make. This will be made possible as Instagram links to your Facebook catalogue of products – so make sure you have updated this with everything you want to sell.
