Certificate Expiration information
All POS solutions that transact with Global Payments are required to make a secure connection to our processing servers. There are several ways of doing this, but if connecting over the open Internet, a TLS connection is required. Global Payments currently uses Entrust as their primary Certification Authority (CA) to issue these TLS certificates; however, we will now be using DigiCert for new certificate issuance. You will need to make sure you are prepared for our transition to DigiCert before the Entrust certificate expires.
