Keeping app up-to-date

Application Updates

We regularly update the Genius Mobile Pay application for you so that we can always bring you a secure, reliable, and feature rich solution. We release updates at least once a month, and an update to the application can be completed by following the below steps, however we recommend that you set your device to receive app updates automatically.

Google Play (Automatic updates)

  1. Open the Google Play Store: Find the Play Store app on your Android device and select to open.
  2. Access your profile: select your profile icon, located in the top right corner of the Play Store.
  3. Access Google Play Store settings: select “Settings”.
  4. Access Network Preferences: Select “Network Preferences”.
  5. Access Auto-update Apps: Select “Auto-update apps”.
  6. Select desired preference: Select the desired update preference from the available list.
    1. Update all apps over Wi-Fi or mobile data (Preferred)
    2. Update with limited amount of mobile data
    3. Update over Wi-Fi only
    4. Don't auto-update apps

Google Play (Manual update)

  1. Open the Google Play Store: Find the Play Store app on your Android device and select to open.
  2. Access your profile: select your profile icon, located in the top right corner of the Play Store.
  3. Select "Manage apps and device":, select "Manage apps and device".
  4. Find updates: a list of apps with updates available will be displayed.
  5. Update apps:
    1. Update all apps: Select the "Update all" button to install the latest versions for all your apps simultaneously.
    2. To update a single app: Find Genius Mobile Pay specifically in the app in the list and select the "Update" button next to it.

Apple App Store (Automatic updates)

  1. Open Settings: select the ‘Settings’ app on your device.
  2. Open App store: Select “App Store”.
  3. Turn on automatic updates: Toggle “ON” App Updates.

Apple App Store (Manual update)

  1. Open App Store: Select the “App Store” app on your device.
  2. Access profile: Select your “Profile Picture” in the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Scroll down: to view the pending updates and release notes.
  4. Find updates: a list of apps with updates available will be displayed.
    1. Update all apps: Select the "Update all" button to install the latest versions for all your apps simultaneously.
    2. To update a single app: Find Genius Mobile Pay specifically in the app in the list and select the "Update" button next to it.
